Juice Filtration

Juice-In the production of fruit luice, the retention of flavor and nutrition is the bottleneck restricting the development of the industry. Membrane filtraton process is carried out at room temperature with mild filtration, which helps to retain the original taste of raw materials and remove bacteria, spores, colloid and pecudliar smell and bitterness, etc. It is a promising stenlizing and clarifying technology for juice drinks. Fruit juice is a fermentable but unfermented juice or serous product made from fruits or vegetables using physical methods lmechanicalmetods.wotecedncimm eict 0 in concentrated fruit juice (pulp) added to the same amount of water removed during processing to restore the juice, slury prodlucts. The membrane filtration processs is carried out at room temperature, does not involve heating process, and does not change the flavor and nutritional ingredients of the product,especially the heat- sensitive ingredients, making it an excellent choice for frit juice and its drinks

Main filtration process points in fruit juice and beverage production:

Water filtration: specific application: product water, CIP water, equipment cleaning water, aseptic filling water, etc.  Different applications have different requirements for filtration.

Coarse filter used to remove sand particles and other large mechanical particles:

Filter elements Suggestion:  PP melt-blown/folding filter element with 40-70um absolute accuracy;  Activated carbon particle capture filter, PP melt-blown/folding filter element with 20um absolute accuracy;

Filtration before entering the tank:

PP melt-blown/folded filter element, GF folded filter element, 2um absolute accuracy;

Water sterilization/bacteria-reducing filtration, PES/N66/ hydrophilic PVDF membrane filter element, 0.22/0.45um, verified by bacterial challenge test, can be carried out integrity test. 

Gas filtration (air, nitrogen, carbon dioxide):  

Prefiltration of gas: protect the back sterilizer filter.  PP folding filter element is recommended, with absolute accuracy of 10um and up to 1um when filtering gas.  Tank ventilation and ventilation;  Sterile gas transmission materials, etc  

Recommended hydrophobic PTFE membrane filter element, 0.22um accuracy, gas filtration can reach 0.01um, verified by bacterial challenge test, integrity test can be carried out. 

Aseptic tank vent filtration:

Aerated filtration in liquids:  

Filtration purpose: in addition to particles and high diffusion, high uniformity inflation, recommended stainless steel powder sintered filter element, 10um absolute accuracy, up to 1um when filtering gas. 

Steam filtration:  

Specific applications: steam for heat exchange equipment, steam for high temperature sterilization, steam in direct contact with food, etc.
